Mary K Schaffer of McAllen, Texas Maggie McDonald of Canfield, Ohio Maggie, Mary and all applicants were asked to complete the scholarship application, submit an official academic transcript, professional resume (including persona information, job history, extracurricular activities, charities, etc.), and letters of recommendation from two teachers, past or present. In addition to these requirements, student also composed one page essays describing how classroom technology has changed throughout their educational path, as well as how it has impacted their learning. Mary and Maggie will each receive a one-time check of $2,500 to go towards their college education. Their submissions stood out among the myriad of applicants, demonstrating their dedication to positively affecting the lives of others. Miss Schaffer plans to attend the University of Texas at Austin and major in Journalism and Miss McDonald plans to attend Kent State University and major in exercise science. Congratulations to Miss McDonald's two referring educators, Science Instructor, Bob Miller and Medical Occupations Instructor, Diana L Holzer who will both be receiving a new AVerVision Document Camera. Congratulations to Miss Schaffer's two referring educators, Psychology Instructor, Marissa Sarabando and English Instructor, Peggy Mott who will both be receiving a new AVerVision Document Camera.
