| 2010 AVerVision Scholarship Winner Announced! |
Congratulations to the winner of the 2010 AVerVision Scholarship, Miss Jena Graham of Tumwater, Washington! Miss Graham and all applicants were asked to complete the scholarship application, submit an official academic transcript, professional resume (including personal information, job history, extracurricular activities, charities, etc.), and letters of recommendation from two teachers, past or present. In addition to these requirements, students also composed one-page essays describing how classroom technology has changed throughout their educational path, as well as how it has impacted their learning. Miss Graham's submission stood out among the myriad of applicants, demonstrating her dedication to positively affecting the lives of others. Miss Graham plans to attend the University of Portland and major in Engineering Management and Political Science. Her incredible essay and outstanding GPA, combined with extensive community service and a wonderful goal to continue giving back to the community through education and service are some of the many factors involved in choosing her as the winner of the $5,000 scholarship. Congratulations to Miss Graham's two referring educators, Principal, Mr. Scott Seaman and Teacher, Mr. Todd McDougall who will both be receiving a new AVerVision Document Camera.
