Where do I download the AVerVision3 software and is my document camera compatible?

  1. AVerVision3 software is bundled with A+ Interactive Software. Once you download A+ Interactive Software you can find AverVision3 listed in "A+ Interactive Software control" in your task bar. Please select your camera from the list here to see if A+ Interactive Software is supported for your camera.
  2. AVerVision3 software can also be downloaded as standalone software from our website here. Please select your camera to see if AVerVision3 is listed for your model.

What is different between AverVision3 and A+ Interactive Software?

  1. AVerVision3 displays live video from AVerVision document camera without having to open A+ Interactive Software. The user interface design of AVerVision3 is more simplified and uses less computer resource. This is very useful when you only need to show live demo video and use simple annotation feature. For interactive on screen discussion, the network feature is available which allows users on the same LAN connection to share and view shared video on their computer and can also annotate on the screen if the Remote Network Control feature is enabled. The AVerVision3 control panel can be retractable into icon size. To fully display the control panel, click the arrow in the mini panel AV3_ControlPanel.jpg .

What can I use the AVervision3 software for?

  1. Capture images or Record videos and save them directly to your computer’s hard drive.
  2. Annotate on top of live video with many annotation tools.
  3. Network feature allows you to remotely view shared video from the software or share video thru a local area network (LAN) connection.
  4. Playback captured images or saved video files
  5. Basic interface that is simple to understand and user-friendly
  6. Continuous capture feature
  7. Region capture allows you to crop an area of the live video you wish to capture
  8. Allows 3 different recording resolutions
  9. You can Print right from the software
  10. "Auto image" feature

AVerVision video screen is displaying an error message, "Doc Cam is not connected".

  1. It is normal for the software to take 5-10 seconds to recognize the camera.
  2. Check the cable connection and see if the USB cable is connected properly. Try changing the USB cable or try different USB ports.
  3. Make sure Driver is not damaged; check your Device manager Under "Imaging Devices". If driver shows damaged, select update driver.
  4. Make sure AVerVision is powered on and in operating mode.
  5. Your software may be outdated, or corrupted, de/reinstall the software.

How do I take a snapshot?

  1. Click on "Image Capture" button
  2. A separate window will pop up showing the captured image
  3. Click on "X" to close the window
  4. You will be asked to save the image, select yes; image will be saved in Jpeg format.

How do I record a Video?

  1. Click on "Start recording" button
  2. Select where to save the video file on your computer, click ok.
  3. Recording is now started
  4. To stop recording, click on "Stop Recording" button
  5. The video file, (.AVI for windows or .MOV for MAC) will be saved to the location you’ve selected.

How do I pan the image?

  1. Zoom in
  2. Place your mouse cursor on the lower left corner of the video window
  3. The Pan control will appear
  4. Use the Pan control to move the image up, down, left or right

What does "Auto Image" mean in the doc cam settings?

  1. Auto image can be turned on or off. When turned on, the camera sensor will auto detect the contrast to your light environment. When turned off, the contrast will stay constant.

What do I need do in order to use the "Network Settings" feature to share my document camera video with another room?

  1. To use network settings you must install "Bonjour" with your software. "Bonjour" is a zero-configuration networking tool to help automatically set up the video sharing for you. Bonjour installation is bundled with your AVervision software.
  2. To share your document camera video, you and the receiving party must be on the same Local Area Network (LAN).
  3. The receiving party must also download the Avervision software and need to be the same version as you.
  4. To start, click on "Network Settings" button > Name your server > Disable or Enable "Remote Network control" > click on "Start Sharing". The receiving party can now open their software and click on "Network Settings", select your Server name and be able to see your document camera image.

How do I make my document camera image to full screen?

  1. Click on the maximize button on the top right corner of your video window.
